When I taught AP Literature and Language classes, I assisted my seniors in writing their application essays. Past students have gone on to attend Yale, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, MIT, New York University, Washington University in St. Louis, Howard University, and more. As a professor at Saint Louis University, I also served on the Fulbright University Endorsement Committee where I evaluated applications on an annual basis.

When I was a professor at Saint Louis University, I taught the beginning and advanced qualitative research courses for PhD students. I served on many dissertation committees as the qualitative methodologist.
